Joel 2:15-17
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast,
call a sacred assembly.
16 Gather the people, consecrate the assembly;
bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber.
17 Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the portico and the altar. Let them say, “Spare your people, LORD.
Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, a byword among the nations.
Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’”

My prayer is that it is true.And may God answer us in the same way he answered the prophet Joel in verses 18-Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people and verse 19-and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen.
With all the outcries and lawsuits and hate for this event, it was a rather impressive gathering of sincere people who recognize that we need to turn to God for our solutions and to also turn to Him for repentance. Tony Evans said it right; that the church is to blame for retreating. Hopefully they archive the video soon so we can watch it in its entirety. (80,000 people watched it on live stream already).
