This brought tears to my eyes, It’s a video posted by Randy Alcorn of George Beverly Shea singing “How Great Thou Art’ right before his 103 rd birthday. Thanks to Manuela who finds and shares all kinds of good and edifying stuff with her friends!

George Beverly “Bev” Shea (born February 1, 1909) is a Canadian-born American gospel singer and hymn composer. Shea has often been described as “America’s beloved Gospel singer” and is considered “the first international singing ‘star’ of the gospel world,” as a consequence of his solos at Billy Graham Crusades and his exposure on radio, records, and television. According to the Guinness Book of Records Shea holds the world record for singing in person to the most people ever, with an estimated cumulative live audience of 220 million people. Shea was a big part of the Billy Graham Crusades with his singing, and he still resides with his wife on the same road that Billy Graham resides on in Canada. Brought tears to my eyes too. Deep and beautiful songs by an unmistakable voice.
We bought one of his cd’s a while back ‘The Ultimate Collection’, it is absolutely great!

well, what I said is true and I thank you, we have so much music that we sometimes forget about certain singers or songs, and then a song just comes along through a referral of someone’s and it just makes your day. And so this video of Shea singing around his 103rd birthday just did it for me. He’s still praising God at 103! Wow!
