North Korea #1 Most Difficult Country for Christians to live in (Open Doors video)

North Korea remains number 1 on the World Watch List of countries where Christians face most persecution, despite the appointment of a new leader in late 2011. This video updates us and reminds us of the cruel way Christians are treated for choosing to follow Christ. Still the most hostile country in which to live and practise the Christian faith, there are reports of many Christians arrested, with at least 25 per cent of Christians believed to be languishing in labour camps for their refusal to worship founder Kim Il-Sung’s cult. Half the population lives in the north, close to China, where family-based networks of house churches exist in significant numbers. Roughly ten million inhabitants are malnourished, with thousands eating only grass and bark.  Please, continue to pray fervently for our brothers and sisters in Christ in North Korea.
