  • Daniela Delibas Conferinta femei, PortugaliaIngrijorarea.

Sinuciderea femeilor in China

  1. In China, rata de sinucidere este mai mare la femei decat la barbati, in timp ce in tot restul lumii rata de sinucidere este mai mare la barbati.
  2. Beijing Suicide Research and Prevention Center a raportat ca in anul 2009 rata de sinucidere la femei a fost de trei ori mai mare ca a barbatilor.
  3. Suicide is the leading cause of death for adult women living in rural areas in China. Sinuciderea este motivul #1 a decesurilor femeilor in satele din China.
  4. Din numarul total de sinucideri de femei 56% au loc in China, desi doar 19% din femeile lumii locuiesc in China. 56% of the world’s female suicides occur in China, but only 19% of the world’s population lives in China.

Statistici despre Avort in China

Chinese data show that 13 million abortions are performed each year, for an average rate of 35,000 abortions per day.
  5. 8 milioane de femei au avort in fiecare an in China.
  6. In Shanghai, Beijing si alte orase mari rata repetarii avorturilor este peste 50%.

The preciousness of life in China – A Group of men catch a toddler falling from a 5th floor window

Poza via www.thesun.co.uk

A few days ago, several couriers who were gathered in an alley of Ninghai, China saw a young child perilously alone up in a window on the 5th floor of an apartment building. They stayed beneath her, keeping an eye on her in case things took a turn for the worse…which they did.

The child, who had woken up from her nap and decided to climb out the window unbeknownst to her parents, fell. The group of eight men below caught her together. Two of them were injured, but the girl escaped with only a minor wound on her face…

China’s draconian forced abortion policies and suicide rates for women

Meanwhile, look at these whopping statistics that I have come across at this Christian website – http://allgirlsallowed.org. By the way, if you click on the original page, you can access citations for every one of these deplorable statistics:

Female Suicide in China

  1. In China, suicide rates are higher for women than men, while in all other countries (with the exception of the small island nation of Sao Tome and Principe) the suicide rate is higher for men than for women.
  2. In fact, the Beijing Suicide Research and Prevention Center reported in 2009 that the suicide rate for females was three times higher than for males.
  3. Suicide is the leading cause of death for adult women living in rural areas in China.
  4. 56% of the world’s female suicides occur in China, but only 19% of the world’s population lives in China.
  5. In more rural areas of China, suicide accounts for one third of all female deaths.
  6. 500 women commit suicide in China each day.
  7. Easy access to pesticides contributes to the prevalence of suicides among rural women.
  8. Violence against women and girls, discrimination in education and employment, the traditional preference for male children, birth-limitation policies, and other societal factors contribute to the high female suicide rate.
  9. According to researcher Steven Mosher, it is no accident that, “China’s women have the highest suicide rate in the world, not to mention the highest rates of breast cancer, all in consequence of having had their babies killed in utero by a state ruthlessly bent on population control.”

Abortion Statistics in China

  1. Chinese data show that 13 million abortions are performed each year, for an average rate of 35,000 abortions per day.
  2. One field researcher has concluded that he is fairly certain that most of the 13 million annual abortions are forced.
  3. According to Steven Mosher, most of the millions of abortions carried out in China have the character of a rape; that is, they were performed on women who were ordered, or even physically forced, to submit to the knife.
  4. Since 1971, doctors have performed 336 million abortions, have performed 196 million sterilizations, and have inserted 403 million intrauterine devices. (For comparison, in the US, where the population is about one-quarter the size of China’s, an estimated 50 million abortions have been performed since 1973.)
  5. 55% of all women in China have had an abortion and 27.3% of women in their 20’s—about 27.3 million women—have had an abortion.
  6. In 2000, more than half of all abortions in China were a result of prenatal sex selection.
  7. One survey of 8,846 women showed that of those women who have had one abortion, 35.97% have another abortion shortly after the first one.
  8. An average of 8 million women undergo abortions every year in China.
  9. The abortion rate among women in China is 29.3%, which far exceeds the average level of other developed nations; in the population of 20-29 year-old young women, the abortion rate is 62%.
  10. In Shanghai, Beijing and other large cities, the rate of repeat abortion is higher than 50%.
  11. Regulations requiring women who violate family-planning policy to terminate their pregnancies still exist in the 25th, 42nd, and 22nd provisions of the Population and Family Control Regulation of Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang provinces, respectively. An additional 10 provinces–Fujian, Guizhou, Guangdong, Gansu, Jiangxi, Qinghai, Sichuan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Yunnan–require unspecified „remedial measures” to deal with unauthorized pregnancies.
  12. While some researchers have suggested that Hepatitis is responsible for the high sex ratio, this is not supported by the evidence.  Looking at the 2000 census data, if a second child is a male it will arrive, on average, 4 months later than a second born female.  This delay in birth indicates that there is human intervention, abortions or infanticide, taking place before the birth of a male second child.
