Charles Spurgeon Sermon – Special Thanksgiving to the Father (audio video and transcript)

spurgeonCharles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the „Prince of Preachers.” In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon’s which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon’s College, which was named after him after his death.

Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Special Thanksgiving to the Father

This message was preached on February 15, 1860. The sermon is prefaced by a letter, which Mr. Spurgeon wrote in June of that same year, as he was on the continent. This is the letter:

MY DEAR BRETHREN,
    I have journeyed happily to the borders of Switzerland, and already feel that the removing of the yoke from the shoulder is one of the readiest means of restoring the metal powers. Much of Popish superstition and idolatry has passed under my observation, and if nothing else could make me a Protestant, what I have seen would do so. One thing I have learned anew, which I would have all my brethren learn, the power of a personal Christ. We Protestants are too apt to make doctrine everything, and the person of Christ is not held in sufficient remembrance; with the Roman Catholic doctrine is nothing, but the person is ever kept in view. The evil is, that the image of Christ before the eye of the Papist is carnal and not spiritual; but could we always keep o’er Lord before our eyes, his spiritual sense, we should be better men than any set of doctrines can ever make us. The Lord give to us to abide in him and so to bring forth much fruit.

„Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”—Colossians 1:12, 13.

THIS PASSAGE IS A MINE of riches. I can anticipate the difficulty in preaching and the regret in concluding we shall experience this evening because we are not able to dig out all the gold which lies in this precious vein. We lack the power to grasp and the time to expatiate upon that volume of truths which is here condensed into a few short sentences.
    We are exhorted to „give thanks unto the Father.” This counsel is at once needful and salutary. I think, my brethren, we scarcely need to be told to give thanks unto the Son. The remembrance of that bleeding body hanging upon the cross is ever present to our faith. The nails and the spear, his griefs, the anguish of his soul, and his sweat of agony, make ouch tender touching appeals to our gratitude—these will prevent us always from ceasing our songs, and sometimes fire our hearts with rekindling rapture in praise of the man Christ Jesus. Yes we will bless thee, dearest Lord; our souls are all on fire. As we survey the, wondrous cross, we cannot but shout—

„O for this love let rocks and hills
Their lasting silence break,
And all harmonious human tongues
The Savior’s praises speak.”

It is in a degree very much the same with the Holy Spirit. I think we are compelled to feel every day our dependence upon his constant influence. He abides with us as a present and personal Comforter and Counsellor. We, therefore, do praise the Spirit of Grace, who hath made our heart his temple, and who works in us all that is gracious, virtuous, and well-pleasing in the sight of God. If there be any one Person in the Trinity whom we are more apt to forget than another in our praises, it is God the Father. In fact there are some who even get a wrong idea of Him, a slanderous idea of that God whose name is LOVE. They imagine that love dwelt in Christ, rather than in the Father, and that our salvation is rather due to the Son and the Holy Spirit, than to our Father God. Let us not be of the number of the ignorant, but let us receive this truth. We are as much indebted to the Father as to any other Person of the Sacred Three. He as much and as truly loves us as any of the adorable Three Persons. He is as truly worthy of our highest praise as either the Son or the Holy Spirit.
    A remarkable fact, which we should always bear in mind, is this:—in the Holy Scriptures most of the operations which are set down as being the works of the Spirit, are in other Scriptures ascribed to God the Father. Do we say it is God the Spirit that quickens the sinner who is dead in sin? it is true; but you will find in another passage it is said „The Father quickeneth whom he will.” Do we say that the Spirit is the sanctifier, and that the sanctification of the soul is wrought by the Holy Ghost? You will find a passage in the opening of the Epistle of St. Jude, in which it is said, „Sanctified by God the Father.” Now, how are we to account for this? I think it may be explained thus. God the Spirit cometh from God the Father, and therefore whatever acts are performed by the Spirit are truly done by the Father, because he sendeth forth the Spirit. And again, the Spirit is often the instrument—though I say not this in any way to derogate from his glory—he is often the instrument with which the Father works. It is the Father who says to the dry bones, live; it is the Spirit who, going forth with the divine word, makes them live. The quickening is due as much to the word as to the influence that went with the word; and as the word came with all the bounty of free grace and goodwill from the Father, the quickening is due to him. It is true that the seal on our hearts is the Holy Spirit, he is the seal, hut it is the Eternal Father’s hand that stamps the seal; the Father communicates the Spirit to seal our adoption. The works of the Spirit are, many of them, I repeat it again, attributed to the Father, because he worketh in, through, and by the Spirit.
    The works of the Son of God, I ought to observe are every one of them in intimate connection with the Father. If the Son comes into the world, it is because the Father sends him; if the Son calls his people, it is because his Father gave this people into his hands. If the Son redeems the chosen race, is not the Son himself the Father’s gift, and doth not God send his Son into the world that we may live through him? So that the Father, the great Ancient of Days, is ever to be extolled; and we must never omit the full homage of our hearts to him when we sing that sacred doxology,

„Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.”

    In order to excite your gratitude to God the Father to-night, I propose to dilate a little upon this passage, as God the Holy Spirit shall enable me. If you will look at the text, you will see two blessings in it. The first has regard to the future; it is a meetness for the inheritance of the saints in light. The second blessing, which must go with the first, for indeed it is the cause of the first, the effective cause, has relation to the past. Here we read of our deliverance from the power of darkness. Let us meditate a little upon each of these blessings, and then, in the third place, I will endeavor to show the relation which exists between the two.
    I. The first blessing introduced to our notice is this—”God the Father has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” It is a PRESENT BLESSING. Not a mercy laid up for us in the covenant, which we have not yet received, but it is a blessing which every true believer already has in his hand. Those mercies in the covenant of which we have the earnest now while we wait for the full possession, are just as rich, and just as certain as those which have been already with abundant lovingkindness bestowed on us, but still they are not so precious in our enjoyment. The mercy we have in store, and in hand is after all, the main source of our present comfort. And oh what a blessing this! „Made meet for the inheritance of the saints in light.” The true believer is fit for heaven; he is meet to be a partaker of the inheritance—and that now, at this very moment. What does this mean? Does it mean that the believer is perfect; that he is free from sin? No, my brethren, where shall you ever find such perfection in this world? If no man can be a believer but the perfect man, then what has the perfect man to believe? Could he not walk by sight? When he is perfect, he may cease to be a believer. No, brethren, it is not such perfection that is meant although perfection is implied, and assuredly will be given as the result. Far less does this mean that we have a right to eternal life from any doings of our own. We have a fitness for eternal life, a meetness for it, but we have no desert of it. We deserve nothing of God even now, in ourselves. but his eternal wrath and his infinite displeasure. What, then, does It mean? Why, it means just this: we are so far meet that we are accepted in the Beloved, adopted into the family, and fitted by divine approbation to dwell with the saints in light There is a woman chosen to be a bride; she is fitted to be married, fitted to enter into the honorable state and condition of matrimony; but at present she has not on the bridal garment, she is not like the bride adorned for her husband. You do not see her yet robed in her elegant attire, with her ornaments upon her, but you know she is fitted to be a bride, she is received and welcomed as such in the family of her destination. So Christ has chosen his Church to be married to him; she has not yet put on her bridal garment, beautiful array in which she shall stand before the father’s throne, but notwithstanding, there is such a fitness in her to be the bride of Christ, when she shall have bathed herself for a little while, and lain for a little while in the bed of spices—there is such a fitness in her character, such a grace given adaptation in her to become the royal bride of her glorious Lord, and to become a partaker of the enjoyments of bliss—that it may be said of the church as a whole, and of every member of it, that they are „meet for the inheritance of the saints in light.”
    The Greek word, moreover, bears some such meaning as this though I cannot give the exact idiom, it is always difficult when a word is not used often. This word is only used twice that I am aware of, in the New Testament. The word may be employed for „suitable,” or, I think, „sufficient” „He hath made us meet”—sufficient—”to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” But I cannot give my idea without borrowing another figure. When a child is born, it is at once endowed with all the faculties of humanity. If those powers are awanting at first, they will not come afterwards. It has eyes, it has hands, it has feet, and all its physical organs. These of course are as it were in embryo. The senses though perfect at first, must be gradually developed, and the understanding gradually matured. It can see but little, it cannot discern distances. it can hear, but it cannot hear distinctly enough at first to know from what direction the sound comes; but you never find a new leg, a new arm, a new eye, or a new ear growing on that child. Each of these powers will expand and enlarge, but still there is the whole man there at first, and the child is sufficient for a man. Let but God in his infinite providence cause it to feed, and give it strength and increase, it has sufficient for manhood. It does not want either arm or leg, nose or ear. you cannot make it grow a new member; nor does it require a near member either; all are there. In like manner, the moment a man is regenerated, there is every faculty in his new creation that there shall be, even when he gets to heaven. It only needs to be developed and brought out: he will not have a new power, he will not have a new grace, he will have those which he had before, developed and brought out. Just as we are told by the careful observer, that in the acorn there is in embryo every root and every bough and every leaf of the future tree, which only requires to be developed and brought out in their fullness. So, in the true believer, there is a sufficiency or meetness for the inheritance of the saints in light. All that he requires is, not that a new thing should be implanted, but that that which God has put there in the moment of regeneration, shall be cherished and nurtured, and made to grow and increase, till it comes unto perfection and he enters into „the inheritance of the saints in light.” This is, as near as I can give it to you, the exact meaning and literal interpretation of the text, as I understand it.
    But you may say to me, „In what sense is this meetness or fitness for eternal life the work of God the Father? Are we already made meet for heaven? How is this the rather’s work?” Look at the text a moment, and I will answer you in three ways.
    What is heaven? We read it is an inheritance. Who are fit for an inheritance? Sons. Who makes us sons? „Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.” A son is fitted for an inheritance. The moment the son is born he is fitted to be an heir. All that is wanted is that he shall grow up and be capable of possession. But he is fit for an inheritance at first. If he were not a son he could not inherit as an heir. Now as soon as ever we become sons we are meet to inherit. There is in us an adaptation, a power and possibility for us to have an inheritance. This is the prerogative of the Father, to adopt us into his family, and to „beget us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” And do you not see, that as adoption is really the meetness for inheritance, it is the Father who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light?”
    Again, heaven is an inheritance; but whose inheritance is it? It is an inheritance of the saints. It is not an inheritance of sinners, but of saints—that is, of the holy ones—of those who have been made saints by being sanctified. Turn then, to the Epistle of Jude, and you will see at once who it is that sanctified. You will observe the moment you fix your eye upon the passage that it is God the Father. In the first verse you read, „Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father.” It is an inheritance for saints: and who are saints? The moment a man believes in Christ, he may know himself to have bean truly set apart in the covenant decree; and he finds consecration, if I may so speak, verified in his own experience, for he has now become „a new creature in Christ Jesus,” separated from the rest of the world, and then it is manifest and made known that God has taken him to be his son for ever. The meetness which I must have, in order to enjoy the inheritance of the saints in light, is my becoming a son. God hath made me and all believers sons, therefore we are meet for the inheritance; so then that meetness has come from the Father. How meetly therefore doth the Father claim our gratitude, our adoration and our love!
    You will however observe, it is not merely said that heaven is the inheritance of the saints, but that it is „the inheritance of the saints in light.” So the saints dwell in light—the light of knowledge, the light of purity, the light of joy, the light of love, pure ineffable love, the light of everything that is glorious and ennobling. There they dwell, and if I am to appear meet for that inheritance, what evidence must I have? I must have light shining into my own soul. But where can I get it? Do I not read that „every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and Cometh down”—yea verily, but from whom? From the Spirit? No—”from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” The preparation to enter into the inheritance in light is light. and light comes from the Father of lights; therefore, my meetness, if I have light in myself, is the work of the Father, and I must give him praise. Do you see then, that as there are three words used here—”the inheritance of the saints in light,” so we have a threefold meetness? We are adopted and made sons. God hath sanctified us and set us apart. And then, again, he hath put light into our hearts. All this, I say, is the work of the Father, and in this sense, we are „meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.”
    A few general observations here. Brethren, I am persuaded that if an angel from heaven were to come to-night and single out any one believer from the crowd here assembled, there is not one believer that is unfit to be taken to heaven. You may not be ready to be taken to heaven now; that is to say, if I foresaw that you were going to live, I would tell you you were unfit to die, in a certain sense. But were you to die now in your pew, if you believe in Christ, you are fit for heaven. You have a meetness even now which would take you there at once, without being committed to purgatory for a season. You are even now fit to be „partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” You have but to gasp out your last breath and you shall be in heaven, and there shall not be one spirit in heaven more fit for heaven than you, nor one soul more adapted for the place than you are. You shall be just as fitted for its element as those who are nearest to the eternal throne.
    Ah! this makes the heirs of glory think much of God the Father. When we reflect, my brethren, upon our state by nature, and how fit we are to be fire-brands in the flames of hell—yet to think that we are this night, at this very moment if Jehovah willed it, fit to sweep the golden harps with joyful fingers, that this head is fit this very night to wear the everlasting crown, that these loins are fit to be girded with that fair white robe throughout eternity, I say, this makes us think gratefully of God the Father; this makes us clap our hands with joy, and say, „thanks be unto God the Father, who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” Do ye not remember the penitent thief? It was but a few minutes before that he had been cursing Christ. I doubt not that he had joined with the other, for it is said, „They that were crucified with him reviled him.” Not one, but both; they did it. And then a gleam of supernatural glory lit up the face of Christ, and the thief saw and believed. And Jesus said unto him, „Verily I say unto thee, this day,” though the sun is setting, „this day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.” No long preparation required, no sweltering in purifying fires. And so shall it be with us. We may have been in Christ Jesus to our own knowledge but three weeks, or we may have been in him for ten years, or threescore years and ten—the date of our conversion makes no difference in our meetness for heaven, in a certain sense. True indeed the older we grow the more grace we have tasted, the riper we are becoming, and the fitter to be housed in heaven; but that is in another sense of the word,—the Spirit’s meetness which he gives. But with regard to that meetness which the Father gives, I repeat, the blade of corn, the blade of gracious wheat that has just appeared above the surface of conviction, is as fit to be carried up to heaven as the full-grown corn in the ear. The sanctification wherewith we are sanctified by God the Father is not progressive, it Is complete at once, we are now adapted for heaven, now fitted for it, and we shall enter into the joy of our Lord.
    Into this subject I might have entered more fully; but I have not time. I am sure I have left some knots untied, and you must untie them if you can yourselves; and let me recommend you to untie them on your knees—the mysteries of the kingdom of God are studied much the best when you are in prayer.
    II. The second mercy is A MERCY THAT LOOKS BACK. We sometimes prefer the mercies that look forward, because they unfold such a bright prospect.

„Sweet fields beyond the swelling flood.”

But here is a mercy that looks backward; turns its back, as it were, on the heaven of our anticipation, and looks back on the gloomy past, and the dangers from which we have escaped. Let us read the account of it—”Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” This verse is an explanation of the preceding, as we shall have to show in a few minutes. But just now let us survey this mercy by itself. Ah! my brethren, what a description have we here of what matter of men we used to be. We were under „the power of darkness.” Since I have been musing on this text, I have turned these words over and over in my mind—”the power of darkness!” It seems to me one of the most awful expressions that man ever attempted to expound. I think I could deliver a discourse from it, if God the Spirit helped me, which might make every bone in your body shake. „The power of darkness!” We all know that there is a moral darkness which exercises its awful spell over the mind of the sinner. Where God is unacknowledged the mind is void of judgment. Where God is unworshipped the heart of man becomes a ruin. The chambers of that dilapidated heart are haunted by ghostly fears and degraded superstitions. The dark places of that reprobate mind are tenanted by vile lusts and noxious passions, like vermin and reptiles, from which in open daylight we turn with disgust. And even natural darkness is tremendous. In the solitary confinement which is practiced in some of our penitentiaries the very worst results would be produced if the treatment were prolonged. If one of you were to be taken to-night and led into some dark cavern, and left there, I can imagine that for a moment, not knowing your fate, you might feel a child-like kind of interest about it;—there might be, perhaps, a laugh as you found yourselves in the dark; there might for the moment, from the novelty of the position, be some kind of curiosity excited. There might, perhaps, be a flush of silly joy. In a little time you might endeavor to compose yourself to sleep; possibly you night sleep; but if you should awake, and still find yourself down deep in the bowels of earth, where never a ray of sun or candle light could reach you; do you know the next feeling that would come over you? It would be a kind of idiotic thoughtlessness. You would find it impossible to control your desperate imagination. You heart would say, „O God I am alone, alone, alone, in this dark place.” How would you cast your eyeballs all around, and never catching a gleam of light, your mind would begin to fail. Your next stage would be one of increasing terror. You would fancy that you saw something, and then you would cry, „Ah! I would I could see something, were it foe or fiend!” You would feel the dark sides of your dungeon. You would begin to „scribble on the walls,” like David before king Achish. Agitation would cease hold upon you, and it you were kept there much longer, delirium and death would be the consequence. We have heard of many who have been taken from the penitentiary to the lunatic asylum; and the lunacy is produced partly by the solitary confinement, and partly by the darkness in which they are placed. In a report lately written by the Chaplain of Newgate, there are some striking reflections upon the influence of darkness in a way of discipline. Its first effect is to shut the culprit up to his own reflections, and make him realize his true position in the iron grasp of the outraged law. Methinks the man that has defied his keepers, and come in there cursing and swearing, when he has found himself alone in darkness, where he cannot even hear the rattling of carriages along the streets, and can see no light whatever, is presently cowed; he gives in, he grows tame. „The power of darkness” literally is something awful. If I had time, I would enlarge upon this subject. We cannot properly describe what „the power of darkness” is, even in this world. The sinner is plunged into the darkness of his sins, and he sees nothing, he knows nothing. Let him remain there a little longer, and that joy of curiosity, that hectic joy which he now has in the path of sin, will die away, and there will come over him a spirit of slumber. Sin will make him drowsy, so that he will not hear the voice of the ministry, crying to him to escape for his life. Let him continue in it, and it will by-and-bye make him spiritually an idiot. He will become so in sin, that common reason will be lost on him. All the arguments that a sensible man will receive, will be only wasted on him. Let him go on, and he will proceed from bad to worse, till he acquires the raving mania of a desperado in sin; and let death step in, and the darkness will have produced its full effect; he will come into the delirious madness of hell. Ah! it needs but the power of sin to make a man more truly hideous than human thought can realize, or language paint. Oh „the power of darkness!”
    Now, my brethren, all of us were under this power once. It is but a few months—a few weeks with some of you—since you were under the power of darkness and of sin. Some of you had only got as far as the curiosity of it; others had got as far as the sleepiness of it; a good many of you had got as far as the apathy of it; and I do not know but some of you had got almost to the terror of it. You had so cursed and swore; so yelled ye out your blasphemies, that you seemed to be ripening for hell; but, praised and blessed be the name of the Father, he has „translated you from the power of darkness, into the kingdom of his dear Son.”
    Having thus explained this term, „the power of darkness,” to show you what you were, let us take the next word, „and hath translated us.” Whet a angular word this—”translated”—is. I dare say you think it means the process by which a word is interpreted, when the sense is retained, while the expression is rendered in another language. That is one meaning of the word „translation,” but it is not the meaning here. The word is used by Josephus in this sense—the taking away of a people who have been dwelling in a certain country, and planting them in another place. This is called a translation. We sometimes hear of a bishop being translated or removed from one see to another. Now, if you want to have the idea explained, give me your attention while I bring out an amazing instance of a great translation. The children of Israel were in Egypt under taskmasters that oppressed them very sorely, and brought them into iron bondage. What did God do for these people? There were two millions of them. He did not temper the tyranny of the tyrant; he did not influence his mind, to give them a little more liberty; but he translated his people; he took the whole two millions bodily, with a high hand and outstretched arm, and led them through the wilderness, and translated them into the kingdom of Canaan; and there they were settled. What an achievement was that, when, with their flocks and their herds, and their little ones, the whole host of Israel went out of Egypt, crossed the Jordan, and came into Canaan! My dear brethren, the whole of it was not equal to the achievement of God’s powerful grace, when he! brings one poor sinner out of the region of sin into the kingdom of holiness and peace. It was easier for God to bring Israel out of Egypt, to split the Red Sea, to make a highway through the pathless wilderness, to drop manna from heaven, to send the whirlwind to drive out the kings; it was easier for Omnipotence to do all this, than to translate a man from the power of darkness into the kingdom of his dear Son. This is the grandest achievement of Omnipotence. The sustenance of the whole universe, I do believe, is even less than this—the changing of a bad heart, the subduing of an iron will. But thanks be unto the Father, he has done all that for you and for me. He has brought us out of darkness, he has translated us, taken up the old tree that has struck its roots never so deep—taken it up, blessed be God, roots and all, and planted it in a goodly soil. He had to cut the top off, it is true—the high branches of our pride; but the tree has grown better in the near soil than it ever did before. Who ever heard of moving so huge a plant as a man who has grown fifty years old in sin? Oh! what wonders hath our Father done for us I He has taken the wild leopard of the wood, tamed it into a lamb, and purged away its spots. He has regenerated the poor Ethiopian—oh, how black are were by nature—our blackness was more than skin deep; it went to the center of our hearts; but, blessed be his name, he hath washed us white, and is still carrying on the divine operation, and he will yet completely deliver us from every taint of sin, and will finally bring us into the kingdom of his dear son. Here, then, in the second mercy, we discern from what we were delivered, and how we were delivered—God the Father hath „translated” us.
    But where are we now? Into what place is the believer brought, when he is brought out of the power of darkness? He is brought into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. Into what other kingdom would the Christian desire to be brought? Brethren. a republic may sound very well in theory, but in spiritual matters, the last thing we want is a republic. We want a kingdom. I love to have Christ an absolute monarch in the heart. I do not want to have a doubt about it. I want to give up all my liberty to him. for I feel that I never shall be free till my self-control is all gone; that I shall never have my will truly free till it is bound in the golden fetters of his sweet love. We are brought into a kingdom—he is Lord and Sovereign, and he has made us „kings and priests unto our God,” and we shall reign with him. The proof that we are in this kingdom must consist in our obedience to our King. Here, perhaps, we may raise many causes and questions, but surely we can say after all, though we have offended our King many times, yet our heart is loyal to him. „Oh, thou precious Jesus! we would obey thee, and yield submission to every one of thy laws, our sins are not wilful and beloved sins, but though we fall we can truly say, that we would be holy as thou art holy, our heart is true towards thy statutes; Lord, help us to run in the way of thy commandments.”
    So, you see, this mercy which God the Father hath given to us, this second of these present mercies, is, that he hath „translated us out of the power of darkness into the kingdom of his dear Son.” This is the Father’s work. Shall we not love God the Father from this day forth? Will we not give him thanks, and sing our hymns to him, and exalt and triumph in his great name?
    III. Upon the third point, I shall be as brief as possible; it is to SHOW THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE TWO VERSES.
    When I get a passage of Scripture to meditate upon, I like, if I can, to see its drift, then I like to examine its various parts, and see if I can understand each separate clause; and then I want to go back again, and see what one clause has to do with another. I looked and looked again at this text, and wondered what connection there could be between the two verses. „Giving thanks unto God the Father, who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” Well, that is right enough; we can see how this is the work of God the Father, to make us meet to go to heaven. But has the next verse, the 13th, anything to do with our meetness?—”Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” Well, I looked it over and I said I will read it in this way. I see the 12th verse tells me that the inheritance of heaven is the inheritance of light. Is heaven light? Then I can see my meetness for it as described in the 13th verse.—He hath delivered me from the power of darkness. Is not that the same thing? If I am delivered from the power of darkness, is not that being made meet to dwell in light? If I am now brought out of darkness into light, and am walking in the light, is not that the very meetness which is spoken of in the verse before? Then I read again. It says they are saints. Well, the saints are a people that obey the Son. Here is my meetness then in the 13th verse, where it says „He hath translated me from the power of darkness into the kingdom of his dear Son.” So that I not only have the light, but the sonship too, for I am in „the kingdom of his dear Son.” But how about the inheritance? Is there anything about that in the 13th verse? It is an inheritance; shall I find anything about a meetness for it there? Yes, I find that I am in the kingdom of his dear Son. How came Christ to have a kingdom? Why, by inheritance. Then it seems I am in his inheritance; and if I am in his inheritance here, then I am meet to be in it above, for I am in it already. I am even now part of it and partner of it, since I am in the kingdom which he inherits from his Father, and therefore there is the meetness.
    I do not know whether I have put this plainly enough before you. If you will be kind enough to look at your Bible, I will just recapitulate. You see, heaven is a place of light; when we are brought out of darkness, that, of course, is the meetness for light. It is a place for sons; when we are brought into the kingdom of God’s dear Son, we are of course made sons, so that there is the meetness for it. It is an inheritance; and when we are brought into the inherited kingdom of God’s dear Son, we enjoy the inheritance now, and consequently are fitted to enjoy it for ever.
    Having thus shown the connection between these verses, I propose now to close with a few general observations. I like so to expound the Scripture, that we can draw some practical inferences from it. Of course the first inference is this: let us from this night forward never omit God the Father in our praises. I think I have said this already six times over in the sermon. Why I am repeating it so often, is that we may never forget it. Martin Luther said he preached upon justification by faith every day in the week and then the people would not understand. There are some truths, I believe, that need to be said over and over again, either because our silly hearse will not receive, or our treacherous memories will not hold them. Sing, I beseech you, habitually, the praises of the Father in heaven, as you do the praises of the Son hanging upon the cross. Love as truly God, the ever-living God, as you love Jesus the God-man, the Savior who once died for you. That is the great inference.
    Yet another inference arises. Brothers and sisters, are you conscious to-night that you are not now what you once were? Are you sure that the power of darkness does not now rest upon you, that you love divine knowledge, that you are panting after heavenly joys? Are you sure that you have been „translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son?” Then never be troubled about thoughts of death, because, come death whenever it may, you are meet to be a „partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light.” Let no thought distress you about death’s coming to you at an unseasonable hour. Should it come to-morrow should it come now, if your faith is fixed on nothing less than Jesu’s blood and righteousness, you shall see the face of God with acceptance. I have that consciousness in my soul, by the witness of the Holy Spirit, of my adoption into the family of God, that I feel that though I should never preach again, but should lay down my body and my charge together, ere I should reach my home, and rest in my bed, „I know that my Redeemer liveth,” and more, that I should be a „partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light.” It is not always that one feels that but I would have you never rest satisfied till you do, till you know your meetness, till you are conscious of it; until, moreover, you are panting to be gone, because you feel that you have powers which never can be satisfied short-of heaven—powers which heaven only can employ.
    One more reflection lingers behind. There are some of you here that cannot be thought by the utmost charity of judgment, to be „meet for the inheritance of the saints in light.” Ah! if a wicked man should go to heaven without being converted, heaven would be no heaven to him. Heaven is not adapted for sinners; it is not a place for them. If you were to take a Hottentot who has long dwelt at the equator up to where the Esquimaux are dwelling, and tell him that you would show him the aurora, and all the glories of the North Pole, the poor wretch could not appreciate them; he would say, „It is not the element for me; it is not the place where I could rest happy! And if you were to take, on the other hand, some dwarfish dweller in the north, down to the region where trees grow to a stupendous height, and where the spices give their balmy odours to the gale, and bid him live there under the torrid zone, he could enjoy nothing; he would say, „This is not the place for me, because it is not adapted to my nature.” Or if you were to take the vulture, that has never fed on anything but carrion, and put it into the noblest dwelling you could make for it, and feed it with the daintiest meals, it would not be happy because it is not food that is adapted for it. And you, sinner, you are nothing but a carrion vulture; nothing makes you happy but sin, you do not want too much psalm singing, do you? Sunday is a dull day to you; you like to get it over, you do not care about your Bible; you would as soon there should be no Bible at all, You find that going to a meeting-house or a church is very dull work indeed. Oh then you will not be troubled with that in eternity; do not agitate yourself. If you love not God, and die as you are, you shall go to your own company, you shall go to your jolly mates, you shall go to your good fellows; those who have been your mates on earth shall be your mates for ever; but you shall go to the Prince of those good fellows, unless you repent and be converted. Where God is you cannot come. It is not an element suited to you. As well place a bird at the bottom of the sea, or a fish in the air, as place an ungodly sinner in heaven. What is to be done then? You must have a new nature. I pray God to give it to you. Remember if now you feel your need of a Savior, that is the beginning of the new nature. „Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ;” cast yourselves simply on him, trust in nothing but his blood, and then the new nature shall be expanded, and you shall be made meet by the Holy Spirit’s operations to be a „partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light.” There is many a man who has come into this house of prayer, many a man is now present, who has come in here a rollicking fellow, fearing neither God nor devil. Many a man has come from the ale house up to this place. If he had died then, where would his soul have been? But the Lord that very night met him, There are trophies of that grace present here to-night. You can say, „Thanks be to the Father, who hath brought us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” And if God has done that for some, why cannot he do it for others? Why need you despair, O poor sinner? If thou art here to-night, the worst sinner out of hell, remember, the gate of mercy stands wide open, and Jesus bids thee come, Conscious of thy guilt, flee, flee to him. Look to his cross, and thou shalt find pardon in his veins, and life in his death.

Cu smerenie si cu respect pentru cugetul fiecaruia dintre cei ce asculta Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu, in aceasta dimineata, asa cum am anuntat de Duminica trecuta. Duhul Domnului mi-a pus pe inima sa vin in fata dvs. cu un mesaj profetic. Ati observat la stiri, ati vazut la televizor, Israel a intrat din nou in Gaza. Este un conflict etern de cand s-a fondat statul evreu. Si Biblia are atatea dovezi si argumente despre ceea ce se intampla astazi acolo si se va intampla . Si o sa vedem cum si cand. Si de aceea, ca oameni ai lui Dumnezeu este bine pentru noi ca sa cunoastem adevarul. Detaliile care sfanta Scriptura le ofera in aceasta privinta sunt uimitoare. As vrea sa urmariti cu atentie textele pe care le vom citi, pentru ca sunt atat de descriptive, atat de directe, incat chiar daca sunteti obisnuiti cu Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu, o sa fiti uimiti de acurateta Lui.

Ieremia 12:14 – ,,Aşa vorbeşte Domnul despre toţi vecinii mei cei răi, cari se ating de moştenirea pe care am dat -o poporului Meu Israel: ,Iată, îi voi smulge din ţara lor, şi voi smulge casa lui Iuda din mijlocul lor. 

Tefania 2:8 – ,,Am auzit ocările Moabului şi batjocurile copiilor lui Amon, cînd defăimau pe poporul Meu, şi se ridicau cu trufie împotriva hotarelor lor. (peste granitele lor – in traducerea Fidela 2010)

Moabul = Iordania Centrala de azi. Copiilor lui Amon = Iordania de Nord.

Ezechiel 25:12-16 – 12 Aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu: ,,Pentrucă Edomul s’a dedat la răzbunare faţă de casa lui Iuda, pentrucă s’a făcut vinovat şi s’a răzbunat pe ea,
13 de aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu: ,,Îmi întind mîna împotriva Edomului, îi voi nimici cu desăvîrşire oamenii şi vitele, îl voi preface într’un pustiu, dela Teman pînă la Dedan; vor cădea loviţi de sabie.
14 Îmi voi răzbuna pe Edom prin poporul Meu Israel. El va face Edomului după mînia şi urgia Mea; ca să vadă răzbunarea Mea, zice Domnul, Dumnezeu.„
15 ,,Aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu: ,Pentrucă Filistenii s’au dedat la răzbunare, pentrucă s’au răzbunat în chip batjocoritor şi din adîncul sufletului, voind să nimicească totul, în ura lor străveche,
16 aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu: ,,Iată că Îmi întind mîna împotriva Filistenilor, nimicesc cu desăvîrşire pe Cheretiţi, şi prăpădesc tot ce a mai rămas pe coasta mării,

Filistenii = Gaza, West Bank Cheretiti = denumirea greaca a filistenilor pentru ca ei se trag din Grecia, pentru ca ei sunt pe coasta marii.

Tefania 2:4-7 –  ,,Căci Gaza va fi părăsită, Ascalonul va fi pustiit, poporul din Asdod va fi izgonit ziua namiaza mare, şi Ecronul va fi smuls din rădăcini. Vai de locuitorii de pe malurile mării, vai de neamul Cheretiţilor! Aşa a vorbit Domnul împotriva ta, Canaane, ţara Filistenilor: ,Te voi nimici şi nu vei mai avea locuitori! Malurile mării vor ajunge izlazuri de păşunat, locuinţe pentru păstori, şi tîrle de oi. Malurile acestea vor fi pentru rămăsiţele casei lui Iuda; acolo vor paşte; se vor odihni seara în casele Ascalonului; căci Domnul, Dumnezeul lor, nu -i va uita, şi va aduce înapoi pe prinşii lor de război.`

Tefania 2:10-11 – 10 Lucrul acesta li se va întîmpla pentru mîndria lor, pentru că au batjocorit şi au fost semeţi cu poporul Domnului oştirilor. 11 Domnul va fi grozav împotriva lor, căci va nimici pe toţi dumnezeii pămîntului; şi fiecare se va închina înaintea Lui în ţara lui, în toate ostroavele neamurilor.`` (Ostroave = insule)

Ezechiel 35:5 –  Pentrucă aveai o ură vecinică, şi ai doborît cu sabia pe copiii lui Israel, în ziua necazului lor, în vremea cînd nelegiuirea era la culme,de aceea, pe viaţa Mea, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, că te voi face sînge, 

Sigur, sunt si alte pasaje biblice, cele pe care le-am citit sunt foarte directe. Pot sa ajute pe orisicine sa inteleaga ca ceea ce vorbeste Dumnezeu nu este programat de Dumnezeu, ci este o precunoastere, care este diferit de o programare divina, de o predestinare divina. Este o precunoastere a lucrurilor ce urmeaza sa se intample si sunt revelate de Dumnezeu, asa cum vor decurge ele in vremea sfarsitului, adica in aceasta vreme.

Introductiv, dati-mi voie sa va spin cateva lucruri despre Israel. Stim cu toti ca Israel a devenit un stat nou printre popoarele lumii, printr-o decizie ONU, la 14 mai 1948. Si atunci i s-a alocat lui Israel 8,019  mile patrate. Deci, atata este teritoriul Israelului. In razboaiele provocate de vecinii arabi- Iordania, Siria, Liban, Arabia Saudita, Egiptul si Irakul, Israel si-a marit suprafata teritoriala. Asa ca Israel a incorporat 3 teritorii noi:

  1. Primul, West Bank sau CisIordania. Razboiul de 6 zile din 1967. CisIordania, care era administrata de Iordania, este un tinut de 2,270 de mile patrate. (aprox 5,400 km patrati). Locuiesc palestinieni in acest teritoriu, dar sunt controlati de Israel, iar teritoriul lor, a CisIordaniei sau West Bankului se intinde din sud de la Hebron si pana in aprtea de Nord la Nablus.
  2. Fasia Gaza, acolo unde sunt ostilitatile astazi. Are o suprafata de 140 de mile patrate. A apartinut Egiptului pana in anul 1967. Dar in razboi in 1967, Israel a cucerit si fasia Gaza. Tinutul Gaza este tinutul vechei Filistia, unde erau cele 5 orase/cetati ale filistenilor si anume: (1) Gaza (2) Asdodul (3) Ascalonul (4) Gatul (5) Ecronul. (1 Samuel 6:16-17) Aici traiesc intr-o semi autonomie palestinienii de azi. Aici este sediul acestei organziatii teroriste palestiniene arabe: Hamasul.
  3. Inaltimile Golan. Este un teritoriu de aproximatic 444 mile patrate, (1150 km patrati), cucerit de Israel tot in razboiul din 1967 si luat de la Sirieni.

Bineinteles ca teritoriile acestea au apartinut lui Israel inainte. Se numeste Golan Heights pentru ca, evreii, atunci cand au cucerit portiunea asta care este in Nord, dar este in sud de Liban, de muntele Hermonului si in sudul Siriei (deci e in nordul lui Israel). Evreii au denumit-o Inaltimile Golan dupa numele cetatii Golan, care apartinea lui Manase, pe vremea judecatorilor si unde era potrivit cu Iosua 20:8 o cetate de scapare care purta numele Golan. Deci, de asta se numeste inaltimile Golan. Daca Inaltimile Golan sunt administrate austere de catre armata israeleana, fasia Gaza si Cisiordania au o semiautonomie si de aceea sunt un focar continu de teroare, de acte teroriste. Stiti bine, aceasta organizatie terorista care este Hamasul are in statutul de organizare un capitol special in care jura nimicirea cu desavarsire a Israelului si nu recunosc existenta statului Israel. Hamasul, ca si Hezbolah in Liban, este sponsorat de catre Iran, Arabia Saudita, Irakul, Siria si Egiptul. Insa trebuie sa mentionez ca nici Rusia cu China si nici uniunea Europeana nu sunt curate pe maini pentru ca intriga si starnesc mereu pe arabii din fasia Gaza si din Cisiordania.

1. Israel, poporul Meu

Foarte putini inteleg existenta acestui popor – Israel. Foarte putini. Sunt chiar teologi numiti crestini, sunt chiar teologi dintre evrei care spun ca nu trebuie sa existe un stat evreu. Ca statul evreu care exista astazinu este un stat evreu, ci este o gaselnita, daca vreti, a evreilor bogati din lumesi sponzorati de America. Oamenii nu inteleg cateva lucruri.

1. Israel este un popor aparte. Creat supranatural de Domnul din Avram si Sara. Uitati-va la aceste pasaje in Geneza 15:1-6, 18:9-14, 21:1-7 si Romani 4:16-22. Deci, Israel nu este un popor nascut in sensul obisnuit al cuvantului. Israel este un popor creat. De ce spunem lucrul acesta? Pentru urmatorul fapt: Avram are 100 de ani si Sara are 90. Nici Avram si nici Sara nu mai sunt capabili la varsta aceasta pentru ca deja nu mai vorbim de oameni care traiesc 900 de ani, ci de oameni care traiesc 70, 80 de ani. Si neavand capabilitatea fizica ca sa mai poata  sa nasca si sa dea nastere, sa fie intimi, Dumnezeu a intervenit in viata lui Avram si in viata lui Sara supranatural, cum a intervenit supranatural in viata Mariei, care n-a cunoscut intimitatea cu vreun barbat si astfel Isus Hristos cand s-a nascut, s-a nascut supranatural. Asa este si Israel. Isac s-a nascut supranatural si prin urmare poporul lui Israel este un popor supranatural. Chiar daca traieste in carne si oase ca si noi si are pacatele lui ca si noi, este un popor nascut aparte, cu un destin aparte.

2. Israel are un statut special: ‘Poporul Meu’. Odata ce este nascut pe aceasta cale, Israel a capatat un statut pe care alte natiuni nu-l au. Si statutul acesta este „urit de diavolul”. Statutul este „Intiiul Meu nascut”. Exod 4:22 Tu vei zice lui Faraon: ,Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: ,Israel este fiul Meu, întîiul Meu născut. Israel, intaiul meu nascut Deci, este poporul Meu. Sa aiba cineva statutul de poporul Meu este ca si cand, sa va fac o comparatie pamanteasca, este ca si cand il luam pe Bill Gates, multimiliardar, si Bill Gates sa vina la noi in biserica sau la dvs. acasa si sa ia pe cineva dintre noi, sa zica: „Il adopt. Acest om va fi mostenitorul meu.” Cine ar putea sa aiba asa statut? Sa devii poporul Domnului, sa devii intaiul nascut a lui Dumnezeu vine cu responsabilitati speciale. Este o pozitie inalta care cere responsabilitate: „Sa umbli cu totul in legea Domnului.” Sa fi instrumentul de cinste pentru a face cunoscut mantuirea in lume numai prin Domnul Isus. Sa pregatesti terenul pentru nasterea supranaturala  a Mantuitorului Isus Hristos. Cum spuneam, vedeti, si Domnul Isus Hristos cand s-a nascut, dupa cum spuneam si in alte ocazii, El s-a nascut supranatural. De ce? Pentru ca neavand un tata pamantesc, 3 lucruri s-au intamplat cu Isus la nasterea Lui, la conceptia Lui:

  1.  Pentru El a fost pregatit un trup special. L-a pregatit Dumnezeu. Asa spune in Evrei 10:5-7 -„Tu mi-ai pregatit un trup…” Acest trup, pregatit special, acest embrion (daca vreti sa-l numiti asa) a fost implantat supranatural de catre Duhul Sfant in pantecele Mariei.
  2. Cand a fost pus acolo, exista al doilea element care intervine in viata lui Isus Hristos. Asa cum medicii pot sa confirme, afirmatia pe care o fac acuma, orice copil care este conceput sub soare si este in pantecele mamei, fie baiat, fie fata, orice copil, in copilul acela este circulatia sanguina a tatalui. Nu este a mamei niciodata. Oricum, Isus Hristos n-a avut un tata pamantesc, ce fel de circulatie sanguina a trebuit sa aiba? Si atunci, pe langa faptul ca Domnul i-a pregatit un trup- deci a creat un embrion special pe care l-a pus in pantecele Mariei, Domnul Dumnezeu, de-asemenea a creat sange pentru Isus Hristos. De aceea i-a devenit tata, pentru ca vedeti cum spune ap. Petru, „Voi nu sunteti mantuiti cu aur, cu argint, cu pietre scumpe, ci cu sangele scump, in engleza este ‘pretios’ pentru ca este aparte, este singurul sange care poate sa curateasca, nu este contaminat de pacat.
  3. Si astfel, umbrit sau supravegheat de Duhul Domnului Isus a putut sa se nasca.

Ne intoarcem insa la Israel. Israel n-a respectat dreptul acesta, statutul acesta de intai nascut, de popor al Domnului. Si dupa sute de ani, profetul Osea face o afirmatie, o profetie din partea lui Dumnezeu foarte trista in Osea 1:8-9 spune: Israel nu va mai fi poporul Meu. Lucrul acesta s-a intamplat in ziua in care Israel a respins pe Isus Hristos ca Mesia si L-au rastignit. Din ziua aceea, Israel si-a pierdut statutul de popor al Meu si de privilegiile care vin incoace de statut. Dar aceasta nu inseamna ca Dumnezeu va renunta la Israel. Aduceti-va aminte ce spune in Romani 9:24-25 ca Dumnezeu totusi a pastrat o ramasita de-alungul istoriei pentru ca Domnul se va intoaarce din nou la Israel. Si statutul de popor al Domnului a fost conferit noua, bisericii, careia i s-a incredintat slujba de-a predica Evanghelia harului. Fapte 20:24 . Si spun aceasta pentru ca foarte multi confunda Evanghelia, deasemenea. Biserica predica Evanghelia harului in aceasta perioada de timp, pe cand Israel predica Evanghelia si va predica Evanghelia Imparatiei. Si ceea ce spune la Matei 20:14, citat de multe ori ca un argument nejustificat pentru venirea Domnului nostru Isus Hristos in aceste zile. Spune ca Evanghelia aceasta va ajunge pana la marginile pamantului.

Matei 24:14 – Evanghelia aceasta a Împărăţiei va fi propovăduită în toată lumea, ca să slujească de mărturie tuturor neamurilor. Atunci va veni sfîrşitul. Spuneti: „Fratilor, asta se intampla astazi.” Si acuma, suntem urmariti pe internet de toat lumea, pana in Australia, pana in Romania, pana in Germania. Unde sunt Romani, ne urmaresc pe internet. Chiar si in Maroc. Si prin satelit, pana la marginile pamantului. Inseamna ca este vremea sfarsitului. Este drept. Dar numai partial, pentru ca uitati ce scrie in textul acesta. Evanghelia care? Aceasta, a Imparatiei. Nu a harului. Biserica vesteste Evanghelia harului, Fapte 20:24.  Care-i diferenta intre una si alta? Diferenta intre una si alta este aceasta ca Evanghelia Imparatiei este a lui Israel, ea cuprinde promisiunea facuta de Dumnezeul lui Israel ca le va da o imparatie de o mie de ani. Noi nu predicam aceasta, pentru ca bisericii nu-i da o imparatie. Bisericii ii da sa imparateasca. Si de aceea, noi avem Evanghelia harului. Nu intru in alte detalii acuma, pentru ca nu ne permite timpul. Si spune: Cand aceasta Evanghelie a Imparatiei va fi vestita pana la marginile pamantului si se va intampla in timpul necazului celui mare. Timp de 7 ani de zile, 144,00o de evrei vor predica aceasta Evanghelie, de aceea se va intoarce la Domnul o multime. Apocalips 7, gloata aceea mare de oameni, pe car  n-o poate numara nimeni, pentru ca vor intelege ce insemneaza Evanghelia Imparatiei. Profetul Osea a zis: „Nu mai sunteti poporul Meu.” Dar a pastrat Domnul o ramasita.

2. Palestinienii si Edomul

Palestinienii sunt un grup multi-etnic. Deci, Palestinienii nu sunt un popor, o grupare etnica pura cum sunt Romanii, cum sunt alte popoare. Nu a existat niciodata un stat palestinian. Si atunci, ce sunt palestinienii? Deci, palestinienii sunt atunci un grup multi-etnic, format din arabi yemeniti, din Arabia Saudita, Egipt, Amoniti, Moabiti, Marocani, Sirieni, vechi Filisteni si Edomiti. Aceste natiuni au locuit prin zona aceasta a Palaestinei, a Canaanului, a Israelului de astazi, de-alungul anilor, a secolelor. Iar in 1948, cand s-a format statul evreu, s-a hotarat ca toata zona asta sa fie inglobatain statul evreu. Insa locuitorii arabi care erau in zona aceasta, aprox, 750,000 de locuitori, n-au vrut sa intre in statul evreu. Si imediat in 1949-1950, popoarele arabe din jur, din care se trag locuitorii palestinieni, au declarat razboi lui Israel ca sa nimiceasca statul evreu. Cand au declarat razboi lui Israel, au sfatuit populatia araba din Israel sa paraseasca Israelul pentru ca razboiul acesta va fi atat de fulgerator, atat de nimicitor, incat Israel va fi nimicit cu desavarsire  si de aceea sa nu sufere ceva casualitati,  pierderi omenesti in lumea araba. Asa ca arabii au fugit. Dar Israel a invins pentru ca Domnul a fost de partea lor.

A invins si in razboiul de ’67  si cand au facut armistitiu in spatiu, cei ce au fugit, au zis: „Vrem sa ne intoarcem inapoi.” De aceea se numesc palestinienii refugiati. Iar Israel le-a zis: „Noi nu v-am izgonit, ramaneti unde ati fugit, in tara in care apartineti. Sunteti egipteni, ramaneti in Egipt.  Sunteti din Arabia Saudita, ramaneti in Arabia Saudita. Asta este mereu conflictul intre israel si refugiatii palestinieni. Deci este o cerere nedreapta. Si vorba aceea, lumea araba are peste un milion de mile patrate de teritoriu, Israel are  8-9,000 de mile patrate si vor sa intoarca milionane de oameni inapoi intr-un loc in care sa nu incapa. Deci, aceasta este compozitia palestinienilor. In Israel, cum am spus, sunt in 3 grupuri: Palestinienii din fasia Gaza, Palestinienii din Cisiordania, langa Ierusalim, si sigur, Palestinienii refugiati.

Biblia ne vorbeste despre nimicirea Edomului in vremurile din urma. Biblia vorbeste despre nimicirea Gazei si a oraselor Filistene in vremurile din urma. Insa, o intrebare e aceasta, din moment ce filisteni nu mai exista, Edomul nu mai exista, cum spune Domnul ca in vremurile din urmava nimici popoarele acestea? Insemneaza ca ceva trebuie sa se intample. Ceva trebuie sa se intample ca sa fie din nou o reasezare etnica de prefiguratia despre care vorbeste Domnul in profetii. Si de aceea, vorbeste Biblia mereu despre Edom, despre Gaza, si despre Filisteni. Insemneaza ca ii va readuce la viata. Cum? Haideti sa va explic. In Obadea 1:2 spune ca Edomul era un regat in sudul Iordaniei de astazi.  Edomul, in timp, va experimenta doua lucruri: (1) Va ajunge mic printre neamuri si (2) Va fi cel mai dispretuit dintre neamuri. Ieremia 49:15-16 adauga de la Duhul Sfant si spune: (1) Te voi face mic printre neamuri, Edomule si (2) Te voi face dispretuit printre toate neamurile.

Dupa ce Israel s-a intors din robia babiloniana, Edomul, care repet, a fost un regat in sudul Iordaniei de astazi . Edomul s-a saturat de tinutele lui aride si in masa, pentru ca Israel era slabut dupa venirea din robia babiloniana, Edomul a cucerit sudul Israelului. Si si-a instalat capitala la Hebron. Si toti Edomitii s-au mutat in sudul Israelului de la Beer-Sheba pana la Hebron. Iar, tinutul acela l-au numit Idumeia. Ati auzit de regatul Idumeii. Deci, nu se mai numeste Edom, ci, e o terminologie greaca, Idumeia.

Imparatul Irod a fost Idumeu, Iuda, Iscarioteanul, care l-a vandut pe Domnul Isus Hristos a fost Idumeu. In anul 70 A D, cand generalul Titus Flavius Vespasianusa asediat Ierusalimul, dupa ce a nimicit Ierusalimul si l-a nivelat, s-a dus si impotriva Idumeii, a Edomului deci, care este in sudul Israelului. A cucerit Titus Hebronul, a cucerit tot regatul Idumeu si istoricul roman contemporan care a asistat la aceste evenimente, Iosivus Flavius, in cartea sa „Razboaiele Evreilor”, la cartea a VI-a cap. 8 spune in felul urmator: Armata lui Titus a macelarit barbaric si asa mica populatia Idumeii. Pe altii i-a vandut sclavi, ca apoi, din populatia care a mai supravietuit, 40,000 de oameni sa-i elibereze, dandu-le freptul de oameni liberi. Acestia s-au asezat din nou in Hebron,40,000,  au inceput sa s einmulteasca, au inceput sa se inmulteasca din nou, dar s-au amestecat cu popoarele arabe din jur care au cucerit aceasta zona. Si astfel ca Edomul din vechime traieste astazi in populatia araba din tinutul lui Israel.

Din Cisiordania, care v-am spus ca se intinde de la Hebron pana la Nablus, deci aici este Edomul si in populatia araba sau palestiniana, cum vreti s-o numiti, din Gaza. Dar populatie palestiniana exista si in Iordania. De aceea, Biblia vorbeste mereu de Edom si Moab, pentru ca acesta a fost tinutul lor unde este Iordania de astazi. Si populatia iordaniana, 60% este palestiniana. Si de aceea, chiar daca exista un tratat de pace intre Israel si Iordania, acest tratat se va calca in picioare si Iordania va merge impotriva lui Israel in aceste zile.

3. Gaza in Profetiile Biblice

Edomului sau Palestinienilor acuma, Dumnezeu le-a spus: „Veti ajunge cei mai mici dintre neamuri, cei mai dispretuiti. Nu veti mai fi un popor. Iata ca ei nu sunt un stat. Au un statut de refugiati prin ONU si in Psalmul 83:6 cand spune ca se face coalitie impotriva Israelului, o coalitie araba care urmeaza sa aiba loc, spune ca cei ce urmeaza sa initieze aceasta coalitie sunt corturile Edomului, adica Palestinienii. Asta inseamna. Cum am spus, Edomitii s-au amestecat cu populatia araba si locuiesc din nou in aceleasi tinuturi, dar nu mai poarta numele acesta nici Filistenii si se numesc astazi Palestinieni. Ce aduce mania Domnului peste Gaza sau Palestina? Cateva lucruri.

  1. Sunt rai sau criminali in comportament. Ieremia 12:14 „vecinii mei cei rai”.
  2.  Se ating sau ravnesc la mostenirea Domnului si a lui Israel. Ieremia 12:14 „cari se ating de moştenirea pe care am dat -o poporului Meu Israel:”
  3. Sunt batjocoritori, dispretuitori si fac mereu incursiuni teroriste peste granitele lor in granitele lui Israel. Tefania 2:8 „au ocarat poporul Meu si s-au preamarit peste granitele lor.
  4. Sunt razbunatori si urasc continu pe Israel. Ezechiel 25:15 „,,Aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu: ,Pentrucă Filistenii s’au dedat la răzbunare, pentrucă s’au răzbunat în chip batjocoritor şi din adîncul sufletului, voind să nimicească totul, în ura lor străveche, 16 aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu: ,,Iată că Îmi întind mîna împotriva Filistenilor, nimicesc cu desăvîrşire pe Cheretiţi, şi prăpădesc tot ce a mai rămas pe coasta mării,” Aceasta se va intampla.  Tefania 2:4

    ,,Căci Gaza va fi părăsită, Ascalonul va fi pustiit, poporul din Asdod va fi izgonit ziua namiaza mare, şi Ecronul va fi smuls din rădăcini.Vai de locuitorii de pe malurile mării, vai de neamul Cheretiţilor! Aşa a vorbit Domnul împotriva ta, Canaane, ţara Filistenilor: ,Te voi nimici şi nu vei mai avea locuitori!

  5. Au o mandrie criminala. tefania 2:10 „Lucrul acesta li se va întîmpla pentru mîndria lor, pentru că au batjocorit şi au fost semeţi cu poporul Domnului oştirilor.”
  6. Au participat la holocaustul hitlerist. Ezechiel 35:5a „Pentrucă aveai o ură vecinică, şi ai doborît cu sabia pe copiii lui Israel” prin forta sabiei. Cand spune sabie in Israel, spune atac militar. Si asta s-a intamplat in timpul holocaustului hitlerist. Ce s-a intamplat? Marele muftiu, adica liderul islamic palestinian, marele muftiu al palestinei Haj Amin Al-Huseini, din care spunea Yasser Arafat ca se trage si el, a facut pact cu Hitler pentru exterminarea evreilor din Europa. Dupa unii istorici, a fost si el facut ofiter SS (deci securist) cu grad de colonel si si-a organizat din Euroap, din Croatia si Yugoslavia, o armata de 22,000 de mercenari cu care a strans evrei de peste tot din Europa si i-a dus in lagarele de concentrare hitleriste ca sa fie omoriti, gazati. Dupa terminarea razboiului, fiindca a fost cautat drept cirminal de razboi, s-a refugiat in Cairo. Si evident, arabii egipteni nu au vrut sa-l extradeze. A murit in 1974. Deci, au contribuit la holocaustul hitlerist.
  7. Si apoi, spune cuvantul Domnului de ce Gaza, de ce Palestinienii vor fi nimiciti, fiindca au intrecut masura pedepsei Domnului. tot Ezechiel 35:5 uitati ce spune texul ebraic: „Ai varsat sangele copiilor lui Israel in timpul cand nelegiuirea lor a luat sfarsit. Cand faci un studiu amanuntit este bine sa cauti in textul original si sa cauti cat mai multe traduceri ca sa poti sa te apropii de ce trebuie. (Textul in Cornilescu este gresit, spune exact invers- cand raul lor era la culme. ar trebui sa spuna „cand raul lor s-a terminat”. Sa va explic ce insemneaza aceasta: Cand un om pacatuieste, cand Israel a pacatuit si pacatul mare a fost rastignirea lui Isus, respingerea lui Mesia, Domnul a spus: „Nu mai sunteti poporul Meu. Au strigat: „Sangele Lui sa cada asupra capului nostru si a copiilor nostri.” Si Domnul a spus: „Ok, asa va fi. Asa se va intampla, pentru ca nu mai sunteti poporul meu.” Dar pedeapsa lui Dumnezeu este o pedeapsa cu masura. Asa zice Biblia. Zice: Pedepseste-ma Doamne, dar cu masura.Asa s-a rugat Israelul. Stiti cand s-a implinit masura? Masura s-a implinit in timpul holocaustului hitlerist. Si de aceea, Domnul spune: „Sunt manios pe tine Edomule (Gaza/Filistenia) pentru ca tu ai intins mana cand poporul meu era in necazul cel mai mare si cand suferinta/pedeapsa pentru pacatul lor a luat sfarsit. Daca ti-ai intrecut masura si pedepsesti peste masura pe care o ingaduie Dumnezeu, atunci, bineinteles ca ai parte de razbunarea lui Dumnezeu.

Uitati-va ce se intampla in holocaustul hitlerist. Daca deschideti si dvs. internetul la Psalmul 102 si sunt convins ca o sa fiti uimiti de detaliile pe care Psalmul 102 le da  cu privire la holocaustul hitlerist. Si eu am sa va duc step by step, pas cu pas ca sa vedeti acest lucru. Psalmi 102 – Doamne, ascultă-mi rugăciunea, şi s’ajungă strigătul meu pînă la Tine! 

  1. Evreii ii spune: suntem in necaz.
  2. Vers. Nu-mi ascunde Faţa Ta în ziua necazului meu! Pleacă-Ţi urechea spre mine, cînd strig! Ascultă-mă degrab! Ce necaz are? Cuptoarele hitleriste.
  3. Vers. 3 Căci zilele mele pier ca fumul, şi oasele îmi ard ca un tăciune. lasa o descriere curata.
  4. Este foamete – vers. 5 Aşa de mari îmi sînt gemetele, că mi se lipesc oasele de carne. pentru ca au ajuns numai piele, ati vazut, numai piele si oase.
  5. Vers. 5 din nou – disperare. Aşa de mari îmi sînt gemetele
  6. Vers 6 & 7 – munca silnica –  Seamăn cu pelicanul din pustie, sînt ca o cucuvaie din dărîmături; 
  7. nu mai pot dormi, şi sînt ca pasărea singuratică pe un acoperiş. Asta inseamna munca silnica, batjocura, dusi in locuri unde nu trebuie sa fie.
  8. Batjocura – vers 8 – În fiecare zi mă bătjocoresc vrăjmaşii mei, şi protivnicii mei jură pe mine în mînia lor. Evreii au ajuns batjocura Europei si a antisemitilor.
  9. Sunt dezumanizati – Mănînc ţărînă în loc de pîne, şi îmi amestec lacrămile cu băutura 
  10. Ei recunosc ca aceasta-i pedeapsa Domnului pentru ei ‘din pricina mîniei şi urgiei Tale; căci Tu m’ai ridicat, şi m’ai aruncat departe.’
  11. Exterminare nationala. Vers. 11 ‘Zilele mele sînt ca o umbră gata să treacă, şi mă usuc ca iarba‘ Asta a fost solutia finala, sa dispara lumea iudaica.
  12. Insa, aceasta a fost ultima lovitura data evreilor inainte de reintoarcerea fetei Domnului catre ei cand sunt readusi in 1948 in Israel pentru ca sa formeze un stat, pentru ca uitati ce spune versetul 12 & 13 ‘Dar Tu, Doamne, Tu împărăţeşti pe vecie, şi pomenirea Ta ţine din neam în neam.
  13. Vers. 13 – Tu Te vei scula, şi vei avea milă de Sion; căci este vremea să te înduri de el, a venit vremea hotărîtă pentru el. Evreii, chiar daca si-au temut pierderea fiintei nationale , au stiut ca este ultima lor lovitura din partea Domnului si este vremea cand Domnul sa se intoarca. La fel spune in Ezchiel 37, cand este acea vedenie cu valea oaselor. Si prin urmare, ce spune Domnul? „In ziua nenorocirii, inca ti-ai facut armata si ai omorit cu sabia pe copiii mei, marele muftiu- 22,000 de mercenari care sa-i stranga pe evrei si sa-i omoare.” Si spune: „Mai rau mi-ai aprins mania, ca te-ai dus sa lovesti cand Eu mi-am luat mana de peste ei si am zis: ‘Ajunge.’ Si de atunci incoace, nu incetezi cu teroarea. Eu nu-i mai pedepsesc. Eu, acuma-i rezidesc pentru ca vreau sa-i intorc fata spre Mine, sa Ma inteleaga. Si voi inca ii macelariti. Ei, din pricina aceasta, mania Domnului, urgia Domnului impotriva Gazei, impotriva filistenilor si a lumii arabe este mare.

4. Cum si cand se va intampla ce spune Biblia?

Astazi este razboi in Gaza. Intr-o saptamana peste 10,000 de rachete au fost trimise impotriva lui Israel. Sigur, comentatori liberali, politicieni liberali, cumparati poate de arabi cu bani de pe petrol,  sau oameni fara niciun pic de moral acuza pe Israel. Sa nu se supere nimeni pe mine. Nu intram in aspecte politice, dar, daca vecinii nostri aici in Statele Unite ar trimite numai 5 rachete peste America, ar trece tavalugul peste ei. Nu credeti aceasta? Si Evreii trebuie sa stea cu mana in san cand 10,000 de rachete vin impotriva lor in 8 zile. Tefania a spus: Gaza va fi nimicita. Va ajunge un loc pentru pasiunile evreilor. Acuma, nu stiu sa va spun daca acuma, dar stiu urmatoarele lucruri-

In orientul mijlociu situatia este urmatoarea:

  1. Israel si-a ispasit pedeapsa. Prin respingerea mesianitatii lui Isus, odata cu holocaustul hitlerit. Psalmul 102:1-13 si Eechiel 37 Deci, Israel nu mai trebuieste lovit acuma.
  2. Israel a inceput din nou sa intre in statutul de poporul meu. Si aceasta le da privilegii pe care nu le are nimeni. De aceea, biserica trebuie sa plece.
  3. Israel s-a intors acasa, in Canaan. Este drept, in necredinta. Ezechiel 37:8 spune  M-am uitat, şi iată că le-au venit vine, carnea a crescut, şi le -a acoperit pielea pe deasupra; dar nu era încă duh în ele. Asta inseamna ca nu au putere spirituala.
  4. Israel a devenit o armata de temut. ezechiel 37:10 ‘Am proorocit, cum mi se poruncise. Şi a intrat duhul în ei, şi au înviat, şi au stătut pe picioare: era o oaste mare, foarte mare la număr.’  Va fi o ostire puternica.
  5.  Prin disciplina armatei care implineste cuvantul profetic, nimicind Palestina sau Edomul, Israel incepe sa faca pasi prestatutul privilegiat de popor al meu, pentru ca uitati ce spune Ezechiel 5:14 ‘Te voi preface într’un pustiu, te voi face de ocară printre neamurile cari te înconjoară, înaintea tuturor trecătorilor.‘ Ii spune din nou ‘poporul Meu’. De aceea, sa ma asculte toti semitii, sa umple blogurile cu toate teoriile lor, Israel este poporul Domnului. Domnul a inceput sa priveasca din nou spre Israel . A devenit poporul Lui si primul pas in aceasta privinta este armata Israeleana si razbunarea lui Dumnezeu asupra acestor tinuturi se datoreaza maniei Domnului pentru faradelegile lor pentru ca vor sa-l asupreasca cand Domnul a spus: Nu mai dati in el. Si cel ce face pasi in aceasta privinta este armata.
  6. Timpul este acuma. Fiti atenti la acest text. Aceasta trebuie sa ne vorbeasca tuturor cat de aproape este timpul, cat de aproape este venirea Domnului si sa ne puna pe pocainta, fratilor.  Tefania 2:1-4

    Veniţi-vă în fire, şi cercetaţi-vă, neam fără ruşine, pînă nu se împlineşte hotărîrea-ca pleava trece vremea-pînă nu vine peste voi mînia aprinsă a Domnului, pînă nu vine peste voi ziua mîniei Domnului! Căutaţi pe Domnul, toţi cei smeriţi din ţară, cari împliniţi poruncile Lui! Căutaţi dreptatea, căutaţi smerenia! Poate că veţi fi cruţaţi în ziua mîniei Domnului.„ ,,Căci Gaza va fi părăsită, Ascalonul va fi pustiit, poporul din Asdod va fi izgonit ziua namiaza mare, şi Ecronul va fi smuls din rădăcini. Ce spune profetul aicea? Cand zice ‘Veniti-va in fire si cercetati-va neam fara rusine’, nu este o insulta. Deci, traducerea lui Cornilescu, aici este putin mai veche. Ci, spune urmatorul lucru. Veniti-va in fire neam umilit in lume. Cui se adreseaza? Evreilor. Dar, uitati ce spune Cuvantul Domnului: Peste voi mai vine un necaz. Este Necazul Cel Mare.

Pana nu se implineste hotararea, ca pleava trece vremea, pana nu vine peste voi mania aprinsa a Domnului, pana nu vine peste voi ziua maniei Domnului. Deci, le spune: Peste voi mai vine un necaz. Este Necazul Cel Mare. Si Domnul spune: „Pana nu vine Necazul Cel mare, Gaza va fi nimicita. Nu in timpul Necazului. Dar, Necazul Cel Mare nu vine pana nu va fi rapita biserica. Prin urmare, nimicirea Gazei, a Cisiordaniei, si a popoarelor din jur arabe este dupa usa pentru ca acuma este conflictul acolo. Si Biblia spune clar: Inainte de venirea Domnului se intampla aceste lucruri. Inainte, adica acuma. Si cand se intampla, vine mania Domnului, vine Nceazul Cel Mare. Biserica pleaca si Israel intra intr-o noua faza. Deci, timpul este acuma in aceste zile, doar Gaza sa fie nimicita. Israel sa nu se atinga de West Band, de Cisiordania, de la Hebron pana la Nablus, langa Ierusalim. Si lucrul acesta o sa-i infurie atat de rau pe arabi si pe Palestinienii care au ramas in Cisiordania, incat sa initieze razboiul din

Psalmul 83

83 (O cîntare. Un psalm al lui Asaf.) Dumnezeule, nu tăcea! Nu tăcea, şi nu Te odihni, Dumnezeule!
2 Căci iată că vrăjmaşii Tăi se frămîntă, şi ceice Te urăsc înalţă capul.
3 Fac planuri pline de vicleşug împotriva poporului Tău, şi se sfătuiesc împotriva celor ocrotiţi de Tine.
4 ,,Veniţi„, zic ei, ,,să -i nimicim din mijlocul neamurilor, ca să nu se mai pomenească numele lui Israel!„
5 Se strîng toţi cu o inimă, fac un legămînt împotriva Ta:
6 corturile lui Edom şi Ismaeliţii, Moabul şi Hagareniţii,
7 Ghebal, Amon, Amalec, Filistenii cu locuitorii Tirului.
8 Asiria se uneşte şi ea cu ei, şi îşi împrumută braţul ei copiilor lui Lot. -(Oprire).
9 Fă-le ca lui Madian, ca lui Sisera, ca lui Iabin la pîrîul Chison,
10 cari au fost nimiciţi la En-Dor, şi au ajuns un gunoi pentru îngrăşarea pămîntului.
11 Căpeteniile lor fă-le ca lui Oreb şi Zeeb, şi tuturor domnilor lor ca lui Zebah şi Ţalmuna!
12 Căci ei zic: ,,Să punem mîna pe locuinţele lui Dumnezeu!„
13 Dumnezeule, fă -i ca vîrtejul de praf, ca paiul luat de vînt,
14 Ca focul care arde pădurea, şi ca flacăra, care aprinde munţii!
15 Urmăreşte -i astfel cu furtuna Ta, şi bagă groaza în ei cu vijelia Ta!
16 Acopere-le faţa de ruşine, ca să caute Numele Tău, Doamne!
17 Să fie ruşinaţi şi îngroziţi pe vecie, să le roşească obrazul de ruşine şi să piară!
18 Ca să ştie că numai Tu, al cărui Nume este Domnul, Tu eşti Cel Prea Înalt pe tot pămîntul;

Vers. 4 este carterul lui Hizbollah. Cine initiaza asta – vers. 6 ‘corturile lui Edom’, adica, Palestinienii, filistenii de astazi. Si unde isi au ei tinutul? In Cisiordania, de la Hebron pana la Nablus. Ismaelitii = adica, Arabia Saudita. Moabul este centrul Iordaniei,  si Hagarenitii este nordul Egiptului. Vers 7 mai departe. Ghebal este sudul Libanului. Amon este nordul Iordaniei. Amalec este tinut filistean de sud. Filistenii, asta este Gaza. Cu locuitorii Tirului = Libanul. 8 Asiria se uneşte şi ea cu ei, şi îşi împrumută braţul ei copiilor lui Lot. Este vorba de Siria de astazi. Sigur ca un dusman ca si Siria nu poate sa nu vina la un astfel de razboi. D

Deci, este posibil ca un asemenea conflict care este in fasia Gaza sa se incheie pentru putina vreme. Si pentru ca acesti teroristi Hamas nu se pocaiesc si nu inteleg, atunci Israel va merge peste ei si asa cum va spune Tefania, va nimici cu desavarsire Gaza. Lucrul acesta ar putea sa intarite Cisiordania si sa atite popoarele din jur, de care spune in Psalmul 83 „si sa vina impotriva lui Israel.” Dar, cand acest razboi din Psalmul 83 se intampla, Domnul din nou vine in ajutorul lui Israel. Ezechiel 39:25 – ,,De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: ,Acum voi aduce înapoi pe prinşii de război ai lui Iacov, voi avea milă de toată casa lui Israel, şi voi fi gelos de Numele Meu cel sfînt. In ebraica scrie ‘I will restore again the fortunes of Jacob’. Inseamna: Voi da din nou bogatiile de dinainte lui Iacov. Si uite cum le va da. Ezechiel 36:11 – Voi înmulţi pe oamenii şi vitele, cari vor creşte şi se vor înmulţi: voi face să fiţi locuiţi ca şi mai înainte, şi vă voi face mai mult bine decît odinioară; şi veţi şti că Eu sînt Domnul. 

Zaharia 14:14 – Iuda va lupta şi el în Ierusalim, şi vor strînge bogăţiile tuturor neamurilor de primprejur, aurul, argintul şi haine foarte multe. Ne spune care va fi deznodamantul acestui razboi.  Care-s neamurile de primprejur? Egiptul, Iordania, Irakul, Arabia Saudita, Siria, Liban. Aceasta stare economica, care de asemenea va fi suportata de mari descoperiri petroliere in Israel,  si gaz natural, de fapt, gaz natural s-a descoperit in 2010 in Marea Mediterana. Langa Tel Aviv s-au descoperit doua pungi mari de peste 100 miliarde de dolari valoare. Insa, Domnul a spus in Deuteronom 33:24 – Despre Aşer a zis: ,,Binecuvîntat să fie Aşer între copiii lui Israel! Plăcut să fie fraţilor lui, Şi să-şi moaie piciorul în untdelemn! In ebraica nu scrie untdelemn, scrie in ‘uleiul pamantului’. Care-i uleiul pamantului? Este petrolul.

Promisiune facuta lui Iosif: Geneza 49:25 – Aceasta este lucrarea Dumnezeului tatălui tău, care te va ajuta; Aceasta este lucrarea Celui Atotputernic, care te va binecuvînta Cu binecuvîntările cerurilor de sus, Cu binecuvîntările apelor de jos, Cu binecuvîntările ţîţelor şi ale pîntecelui mamei.  In ebraica nu scrie binecuvantare apelor de jos, ci a uleiului de jos. Insemneaza ca Israel va ajunge si el sa descopere petrol  si lucrul acesta pentru ca acuma a cucerit  nordul Egiptului in Psalmul 83, a nimicit acuma si a facut ordine cu Palestinienii, a cucerit Iordania, a cucerit Arabia Saudita pana la Dedan, care este in Arabia Saudita. Si seba. A cucerit pana la Damasc- in Siria, Irak, sudul Libanului. A luat aur, prada multa. Lucrul acesta il va face invidios pe un Putin care se va ridica in curand, pe domnul Rusiei care va face o coalitie cu Iranul  impotriva lui Israel, in ceea ce Biblia numeste razboiul lui Gog din Magog.

Stiti ce de? Pentru ca, acuma, Israel are un statut de armata, super armata, poate superioara Americii si are statut de cel mai bogat stat din lume. Lucrul acesta il face invidios pentru ca acuma trebuie sa deal-ui cu Israel de pe o pozitie mai mica, ca el este mai mare. Si rusul va veni impotriva lui Israel. Ezechiel 38:13 – Seba şi Dedan, negustorii din Tars şi toţi puii lor de lei, îţi vor zice: ,Vii să iei pradă? Pentru jaf ţi-ai aducat oare mulţimea ta, ca să iei argint şi aur, ca să iei turme şi avuţii, şi să faci o pradă mare?` Uitati ce se intampla cand coalitia ruseasca a lui Gog  (Gog inseamna printul Magogului). Cand scrie Seba si Dedan, e pentru ca au cucerit si Arabia Saudita pentru ca acuma controleaza petrolul evreii. Negustorii din Tars insemneaza Libanul, in cazul de fata si lumea engleza pentru ca Tarsisul a fost cetate feniciana lebaneza pe coasta Angliei, a Marei Britanii. Tarsis insemneaza cositor. Oamenii sunt in epoca bronzului. Bronzul se face dintr-un aliaj de cupru cositor. Si cum aveau nevoie de cositor ca sa faca arme de bronz si unelte de bronz, au descoperit in Anglia cositor mult si de aceea au numit localitatea Tarsis, tinutul cositorului. Si cand zice tars sau Tarsis insemneaza lumea engleza si toti puii lor de lei. Cine’s puii Angliei? Canada, America, Australia. Astia-s puii, ca din Anglia se trag.

Inseamna ca este o armata, acolo in Israel, un fel de centru de pace ONU. Ii vo zice, ia auziti ce vor psune Rusului: ,Vii să iei pradă? Pentru jaf ţi-ai aducat oare mulţimea ta, ca să iei argint şi aur, ca să iei turme şi avuţii, şi să faci o pradă mare?` Ei, ca sa vina dupa prada, inseamna ca Israel trebuie sa intre in posesia prazii, mai intai sa o aiba. Si n-o poate avea decat in acest razboi.

Prin urmare, frati si surori, in zilele urmatoare, si tine-ti minteeste inainte de Necazul Cel Mare, inaintea zilei Domnului. este inainte de rapirea bisericii, [cand] se intampla acest eveniment- Ordine in Gaza. Si cand se intampla acest eveniment  se mai intampla un singur lucru. DIn nou Tefania 2:11 – Domnul va fi grozav împotriva lor, căci va nimici pe toţi dumnezeii pămîntului; şi fiecare se va închina înaintea Lui în ţara lui, în toate ostroavele neamurilor.„ Stiti ce insemneaza? Terorismul este sponsorat ideologic de Koran, de invataturile lui Mohamed, profetul arabilor, a islamistilor. Si de aceea, ei mereu cand isi incep cuvantarile, incep cu aceasta expresie: ‘Alahu Akbar’- Alah este cel mai mare. Asta este o insulta la adresa Dumnezeului Scripturilor, la adresa Dumnezeului lui Israel. in razboiul acesta, in Psalmul 83 si ordine in Gaza si in Cisiordani, Dumnezeu va umili pe Alah, pentru ca spune acolo ca v aloci pe ‘toti dusmanii Mei si pe toti dumnezeii pamantului.’ Arabii se vor gasi rusinati, cei ce supravietuiesc. Islamul va intra in cadere libera, si cei ramasi, Cuvantul Domnului spune: Se vor intoarce la Domnul. Lucrul acesta va starni gelozie in Israel, pentru ca fratii lor- pt. ca arabii sunt fratii lor- (Ismael) l-au primit pe Mesia si de aceea, evreii se vor grabi si ei sa-L primeasca pe Domnul Isus, aceasta in timpul Necazului Cel Mare.

Lucruri mari. Lucruri frumoase. Lucruri care se intampla sub ochii nostri. De aceea, fiindca stim aceste lucuri, spune sfanta Scriptura, ce trebuie sa facem? Sa traim o viata sfanta si nu se potriveste mai bine decat Cuvantul Domnului pe care am sa-l citesc si cu care concludem. Este in 2 Petru 3:11-14 –

11 Deci, fiindcă toate aceste lucruri au să se strice, ce fel de oameni ar trebui să fiţi voi, printr’o purtare sfîntă şi evlavioasă,
12 aşteptînd şi grăbind venirea zilei lui Dumnezeu, în care cerurile aprinse vor pieri, şi trupurile cereşti se vor topi de căldura focului?
13 Dar noi, după făgăduinţa Lui, aşteptăm ceruri noi şi un pămînt nou, în care va locui neprihănirea.
14 De aceea, prea iubiţilor, fiindcă aşteptaţi aceste lucruri, siliţi-vă să fiţi găsiţi înaintea Lui fără prihană, fără vină, şi în pace.
