An excellent video (uploaded to Youtube via rfvidz) in which Norman L Geisler, currently Distinguished Professor of Apologetics at Veritas Evangelical Seminary in Murrieta, CA (www.VeritasSeminary.com) lectures on the New Atheists and discusses -why people believe in God, why people reject God’s existence. One noteworthy point is when he states that Theological liberals are rejecting Creationism, while Agnostic scientists know that the Universe did in fact have a beginning (it wasn’t always (forever) around and they affirm the biblical view of the origin of the world. So, liberal Christians are putting their faith in the science of evolution, just when scientists are not.

..and what atheist Richard Dawkins says – that evolution leads to atheism.. from his conference in 2007. (So why then do older, orthodox Christians fall into the trap of citing science for their basis of evolution when scientists know evolution is an unprovable theory?) It was hard listening to Dawkins when he talked about how children should not be exposed to identity in religion, but should be taught all religions and then kids should be told that when they are old enough they can choose which ever religion they wish. Very chilling humanist agend that remindsme of communism in so many ways (and I lived under communism for 8 years- I speak from the inside not from a theoretical basis ).

God doesn’t hate no one what god hate is the sin not the sinner , all i want to say becarefull with spirits of error if you dont know what that mean people look at up debatin is not goin to save any soul for god because in heaven we ill not be devided like what side we should be at one for none believer others for catolics jehova witness etc people there are religions with spirits of errors im not sayin any names of it but you young man and lady look it is not good to judge people because in heaven we ill be as one and remember satan is a liar and also remember to rebuke because you are not alone sin is not biger than other sin because we all sin admit you a sinner and come to him because if it wasnt for him we all would had been gone to hell because when he die for us he die for our sin and soul but not only spiritualy but you life is safe no metter who you are you have an aportunity to repent in time god always ill be there for you wating with open arms call upon him you ill see what i mean read in matthew 24 about what jesus say what is aproaching in the last days we shoulnt look at this ridiculous because we all here put for a purpose and god also gives us diferent dons so we can use it for him but somepeople dont know and they use it for the world and sin people realize and try to find your purpose and see what god have plan for you why im saying this because i had an experience on spiritual rim believe me they do exist ask god to open you eyes and ears so he can show you the truth . I love you all and god bless you pleased no more strifing open you heart to god and let him in and you ill see what i mean but right now the world is corrupted in sin god is lookin for the kind and favor and worthy to himthat why god dont menifest him self like he use to because world became corrupted and god is about to destroy it with his wrath god is sufferin satan ill do anythin to fool people and take them down because he have no time left he is judge by god we not here to fight agaisnt flash but the prince of darknes in spiritual world believe me when you come to him you ill have a gift later on but you we need you troops god bless you all 🙂

Goliat, while I appreciate the thoughts you stated in your comment, in 1 Peter 3:15 we, as Christians are urged to „Always be ready to defend your confidence [in God] when anyone asks”. In our day it’s not even about waiting to be asked, atheists are pushing their agenda and attacking our personal faith in Christ. So, in order to be ready to defend, we must know God’s word, as He revealed it to us in the Bible. If someone contradicts the Bible, then we should point it out. The Bible is our guide, otherwise we are not really christians and we have then made up our own religion, based on man’s rules and thoughts and ideas. You can’t go wrong following the original source which is the Bible. So, yes there are many who have the name God on their lips but have never read His Word (the Bible) except to learn some quotes to defend whatever philosophy they want to live out in their life.
But, if God is God, then who are we to choose to believe some of the Bible and reject other parts? So, in everything, the Bible has the last word. And, if we don’t present the Bible as God has given it to us, then we are preaching a false Gospel and we are not of Christ. Remember the passage where Jesus said,
Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
lawessness is not doing what God told us to do in the Bible. Many have made a decision for Christ, yet many years later they have not ever cracked open the Bible to read Christ’s words. These people are deceived and lost, and we do them no service by being nice and not telling them. Our instruction from Jesus, as He ascended to heaven after the resurrection was to go into all the nations making disciples and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is our work. Again, we cannot do this work if we don’t read the bible to know how to make disciples (by reading the New Testament, especially the first 5 books: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts.)
