Forbidden History: Dinosaurs and the Bible

This is a very good video production/ documentary that traces the evolutionary presuppositions about dinosaurs vs. the scientific facts, and how they relate to the Bible throughout world history. For example, did you know that the first discoveries of ‘giant lizard’ bones, what would later be called dinosaurs, occurred in the 1800’s? Or, did you know that it was in 1841 that the word dinosauria was first used, meaning ‘terrible lizard’?

The documentary film Forbidden History: Dinosaurs and the Bible touches on some important points, some of which bear repeating:

More than 24,000 manuscripts exist for the Bible. The agreement of these manuscripts is remarkable, in light not only of the sheer number of manuscripts but also of a fidelity of agreement that rivals that seen in other historical manuscripts of which only single-digit numbers of copies remain.
No archaeological discovery has ever refuted anything in the Bible–and in fact many discoveries have vindicated the Bible when men had long begun to doubt that the discovered cultures ever existed.
The Bible mentions multiple „gentile” historical figures–but other historical records also mention multiple ancient Jewish and Hebrew figures. In fact, Assyrian history mentions two Hebrew kings–Ahab and Jehoram (misidentified as Jehu)–in events that the Bible does not mention. This does not mean that these events did not occur, or that these kings did not participate. The Bible clearly states that it does not recount the entire histories of these kings, and mentions an alternative reference–which, sadly, has been lost.
